The research undertakes a secondary analysis of a cohort of women with chronic hypertension and singleton pregnancies, focusing on those who underwent routine fetal ultrasound at 35+0 to 36+6 weeks of gestation. It compares the incidence of preeclampsia and other adverse pregnancy outcomes between cases with fetal growth restriction and matched controls.
