Coronary artery ectasia (CAE) is a rare condition observed in patients experiencing acute coronary syndrome (ACS). This randomized controlled trial aimed to determine the optimal antithrombotic therapy for these patients by comparing dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) with single antiplatelet therapy (SAPT) plus a direct oral anticoagulant (DOAC). The primary outcomes included cardiovascular death, recurrent myocardial infarction, and repeat revascularization, along with bleeding events over a 12-month period. The study involved 62 patients, providing insights into the safety and efficacy of the different treatment regimens.
